You can get away with having only 2 on the roster and sometimes even one if you have a couple of guys who can play both sides, but I doubt many teams have 3 lefties that can play the right side just as well.

Right now the the Rangers only have one healthy one in Girardi. MCdonagh is a LHS but he's talented enough to play both sides. The rest of the team sucks when playing their off side, especially Moore and DZ.
